1) Download the VoluMill Mastercam® Client software from our downloads page.
When you run the installer it places a DLL in the same directory as other
Mastercam DLLs that come pre-installed with Mastercam. (NOTE: Please ensure that
Mastercam is not running when you install the Volumill client.)
2) After the installation is complete, run Mastercam. Go to Settings->Customize... in Mastercam to bring up
the Customize dialog box.
3) From the "Category" pulldown, select "VoluMill".
4) You should see the VoluMill icon displayed underneath the pulldown box. Simply drag it onto
the Mastercam menu bar wherever you want to put it, and you're ready to go.
5) The first time you create a VoluMill toolpath, you will be prompted for your VoluMill
username (your email address) and a password. VoluMill will automatically
save this information so you do not have to enter it again unless you change your password. If you
do not have a password you can obtain one from our subscriptions page.
Installing the VoluMill Universal Client.
1) Download the VoluMill Universal Client software from our downloads page.
2) Run the installation program. It will place an icon on your desktop and in your All Programs menu.
The VoluMill Universal Client can be launched from either location.
3) The first time you create a VoluMill toolpath, you will be prompted for your VoluMill
username (your email address) and a password. VoluMill will automatically
save this information so you do not have to enter it again unless you change your password. If you
do not have a password you can obtain one from our subscriptions page.
